You must have never been to the greater Gulf Coast between SE Texas and Alabama.
We're truly the home of the Rednecks!!!
It's not really a case of stupidness, it's just that poor folks like ourselves have poor ways. Look us all up on YouTube and you'll get some good laughs.
The funny thing is that I've seen some great stuff there from the Ohio redneck bubba's too, I think they might be gaining on us!!!
I'm curious, do y'all think Larry the Cable Guy is stupid too???

See ya,
Kelly

search on you tube "boat launch fail" & there are hours of proof the gene pool is degrading quite rapidly.

I wish I could show this video to all the people that I have had to wait on at the boat ramp to do all the things they should have in the parking lot. Four good samaritans in a row even if they may not be the sharpest knives in the set is insane and that guy was very lucky he could drive his wet truck home. Around here you would have saw it floating away until it sank and no one would have lifted a finger to help.

we have a riverbank ramp in National Park NJ called beach hill. i have seen several cars trying to pull boats out, get stuck, and end up floating. one guy i sort of knew put 21 checkmate on trailer, told girlfriend to hit gas in camaro, then he firewalled the boat to push car up ramp. then shut down and hit tilt at last second.

OMG that was hilarious. f_inscreenname, your absolutely right about no one lifting a finger to help. They may not be the brightest bulbs down there (but neither are us northerners sometimes) but at least they are friendly and offer to help.

I have seen that video a long time ago. Years comes to mind but I don't recall when.

I like the abundant help. That is pretty amazing to get more help than one needs. Usually one can not get enough help. Interesting.

Also saw a video of a tractor launching a house boat into the surf the same way. The water was above the oil pan and I thought he was a gonner at one point but he made it out.

There needs to be a "Stupidity Hall of Fame", and I nominate this video to be the first inductee
That was freakin' hilarious!
