I am looking at a few boats in the St Pete area. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good surveyor/mechanic in that area? I am primarily looking at center consoles with outboards in the 22 to 27 ft range.

I just had one done this week by Gulf Coast Marine Survey. Give him a call...great guy...I was extremely pleased with how thorough he was. He took a lot of pictures and wrote up a very detailed report. He put my mind at ease about a cross country purchase. http://www.gulfcoastmarinesurvey.net/index.htm

Ed Cozzi did ours and a lot of people recommended him when I was looking for someone. He is or was on this site.
