We have had a tremendous amount of technical problems over the last two days that have put us a few hours behind schedule, but we ended up getting them worked out.. .

Today we are actually ahead of the curve and we are up and running, just waiting for it to start. We will have two camera positions, one in the helo chasing the boats and the other at the finish line. Myself and Ian will be doing th commentary but it's going to be difficult because we do not have the registration event numbers for each boat as they are still beig assigned to them.. Working on sending a tech down there to see when they will have all the numbers assigned that we can cross reference our entrant list..

Looks like things are starting to get some movement so we are getting the helo's in the air now to drop off camera guys, and our finish line camera operator. Hope you guys from the east coast enjoy!

So sad, my internet out here (Kuwait) is not going to cut it. Guess I will have to wait till it is over with to drool over the footage.

There is high speed internet there , shame you do not have it.

Yeah, this sad "quality" internet we have here is old and tired and houses way to many people to get a good connection. Oh well, I will be home to enjoy all of the fun stuff in life soon enough. We are deployed here, not here as civilians in the city or anything. I am lucky to have OSO at least.
