Outerlimits 44 SL - Experience the Ride
With so much talk of how the OL 29 runs like no other boat, it simply reminds me of the ride in the SL 44.
The boat was so stable at speeds at 120 mph it was amazing.
Sure the water here in this video is calm, but reaching these kind of speeds in a vee hull typically would lead you into having to steer a bit. Mike Fiore appeared to be out for a Sunday drive with no effort to drive the boat. Dodging all of the debris in the water that day the boat stayed right on track.
I had hoped to capture the stability of this boat through my lens.
The video was shot with one fixed mounted camera and the other was handheld.
To even think I would be able to shoot with 120mph head wind
and expect the boat to have me all over the place, it was easier than I thought in this boat.
Enjoy the show:

I really don't care for Youtube's rendering after upload.

Thanks Steve !
I always wanted to venture into the Video world but focused on honing my Still Photography first.
Now working on my Video skills as I have the passion to take the time to make a decent edit.
If you haven't seen Ron Potter's Performance Engine's Shop Tour Video yet, check it out:

That was shot with a custom camera dolly I had made out of aluminum and inline skate wheels.
You will especially like the black Chevelle effect I got from the dolly.
