I have always had a special soft spot for both the 33 and the 40 ICBM fountains

Just one mother of a cool ass ride

Dude I have not even put my engines back in the baja yet and your trying to sell me another one
(white wtf did you do that for?)

All ICBM's should be and remain red

I would opt for the 33 version though
Man I just want my damn baja out there already
God tonight I have a date with the twins MUHAHAHAHA

See you out there soon Sling

Default Red = buff weekly

Jay,

Yes, red looks great on a hull, but it can be a ***** to keep looking good. If you look closely at the pictures, you can already see some oxidation on the hull, especially topsides and transom. A friend of mine has a boat with some red on it, and it needs constant attention. Maybe that is why the ad reads "polished yearly".

Nice looking boat, nonetheless!

I second that. I only have a red stripe on my hull and it's a PIA to keep red instead of pink.
There's a guy two lagoons over from me with a red ICBM, and I am always amazed by the condition of his gelcoat. He must have waxed it weekly for the last 10 years.

Jayl13, you will have fun keeping the oxidation off that 28....Black has to be the worst for fadding.
I think we may have a buyer for my buddies. The guy is from IL and will be here on Sun to try it out.
Good luck on the engines tonight.

thanks Russ, going to need all the help I can get.
Yeah the stripes on my 280 were magenta, now looks exactly like the hooker barbie pink (flat pale pink) from the sun, that is why Im going to paint it the same color as the engines (up in custom engine forum)
Good luck selling your 280 (or your friends)
damn shame i love this particular boat, best bang for the buck in the boating world
You should not have a problem selling it, it is clean and trailer looks perfect and the boat overall looks in awesome shape and for the money, cant beat it.

His is black and it is a pain to keep from turning white...Each year we have a little cleaning/waxing party on his boat. I couldnt guess how bad it would get if he left it outside.
I would have liked to buy it from him, I just dont have the space or the place to use it. The lakes around here just dont have enough room. It is one of the things that you could only trailer around and that is just not the smallest thing to have to tow 100 miles to Lake MI just for an outing. He took it to LOTO a few times and to the Missippi a few times and to the local lake but than you use it like a Cruiser putt around the lake and back. I already have 2 boats (Fishing and Outlaw)and a jet ski so I dont even have enough time to use them much less my 2 motor cycles (ZX7R and ZX6R).
