You are way out of your league here if you think 12K for a 10mph increase is extravagant. There are guys here that would spend 25K for 3mph.
You seem to be very inquisitive about this particular thread as a new member. What kind of high performance boating experience do you have?

Ya what he said!!!! LOL I guess Dustin cleared things up.
I rode in this boat the weekend of desert storm. I can tell you if it had a design problem we would have crashed that weekend for sure. Mike was driving hard every second we were on the water. Hard turns, crazy fast in wicked waves and the boat never did anything odd. In fact I was shocked how well it handled ever type of water and driving was thrown at it.
Mike pushes his stuff hard, very hard and his products are much better for it.
We ran 97 mph with five guys and a ton of gear with stock 600 on the way to the first card stop. In fact i dont think we ever went under 90 the entire time LOL. I know first hand the motors had stock ecu because I watched the merc guys hand them to Mike and we put them in. The hatch never came up again. Oh and we bought crap gas on the lake so I know it was not running a wild tune.
This boat is the real deal and if you rode in one It would change you views of V bottoms forever as it did mine.

Very neutral feel, boat never fly's off waves, does not porpise. Ran at Havasu, 100+ miles, was first v to the card stop, ran 80-100mph the entire time, through some very, very sloppy stuff. Its been run in 4-5 and because the CG is setup perfectly, it fly's very well and lands soft, very predictable.
