Once again, glad that all are OK

110 is an incredible number for a single engine boat with only 600HP!!! Dang!

Your boat was stolen and rolled by an inexperienced driver, after it hit a sandbar. It was also 6 plus years old, sitting for at least one of those years untouched after the incident. There were newer turn key boats for sale that were cheaper than the dollars needed to put yours back together.

Very different situation here on the 29 Outerlimits.

I'm curious how fast it was going and what water conditions it was in when it rolled. It obviously didnt go over at 100+, else it would look worse than that.

I agree with the sentiments on old school indicators. Technology is great until it introduces risk that we cannot mitigate.

And most important, very glad to hear that no one was hurt. That water had to be cold though!

“We weren’t going very fast,” Mr. Makepeace said, as he was being tended to by medical personnel. “We just kind of caught a wave.”

I think the tab indicator malfunction is a convenient excuse. A light single engine boat like that you should be able to know were the tabs are blindfolded.

Plenty of us are driving fast singles with NO tab indicators. That's a lame excuse for flipping a boat. The bad wave theory sounds more likely.
