Its been a long process and i'm glad it's coming to an end. I cant wait to sit back and relax on the boat. I m ready to get down to the lake with it.

Well Chad how was it today

I just pulled in the driveway.

Looks like i need to have the carburator looked at and the timing dialed in. I was not able to get it on plane until TMAN showed up. When trying to get on plane once i got to 1500 RPM it would try to die. TMAN came on board and throttled through it and was able to get it up.

Once we got it up on plane it ran good and fast! I am going to call Clyde(my boat mecanic) and see if he can come out with me and try to resolve these ploblems.

I was also worried about what prop i would need but it looks like this 28 pitch will work for now.

I can tell you East Fork wasn't bad on Wed. for testing. We took my Scarab out for a couple of hours after work to tune my new motor.

I know this thread was about last weekend. Is any body going to be boating on the ohio near cincy this week end or is everybody heading to cumberland or some other lake. We will be out Saturday and Monday. Probalby near down town or at least hanging out at the Ludlow Bromley.
