So in a year, something is going to emerge and eclipse Penske-backed Ilmor (little bit of engineering know-how there) and Brunswick-backed Mercury Racing (little bit of engineering know-how there), with similar production capacity and consistency and nationwide dealer support for its warrantied engines?
I can't wait to see that.

To borrow from Pulp Fiction, "That's a bold statement."

I'm sure the same attitude surfaced Back in the steam engine days when they thought nothing could be improved on.
If you think paying $100K+ for an unreliable, unwarranted engine is OK then there's something wrong with you.
If I said you could buy a hp marine engine with more power than any competitors with a warrantee for less $-I'm sure that it might spark a bit of interest.

That's a bold statement.
Ilmor doesn't offer anything more expensive than about $72k street pricing, everything is warranted and (as far as I can tell) reliable.
Mercury does offer products over $100k, but as far as I know, most of their stuff is warranted and reliable as well.
Both of these manufacturers are also constantly improving and updating their product line.
Please do fill us in on some the details of the project that you're referring to. Technology? Principle employees? Financing behind the project? Dealer network? We're all ears...

A question for JBS:
What Ilmor or Mercury Racing products are you talking about? No generalities. Get specific.
