Just Curious............. What the does this do?
I have always wondered what this tube sticking up off of the #6 does. I have only seen this on race boats but never knew what it does. How would it help?

It allows the props to suck in air so that they will cavitate to allow the engines to get enough RPMs so they can make enough power to get the boat on a plane.
