How do you figure that. The notch is probably 6-10 inches at most. Subtract that from 28 feet and we're still north of 27 feet. BrettM said the boat from transom to bow eye was 28' - he then indicated the length of the bustle.

I'm still trying to find out why on OSO this boat is called a 29 sv an on Outterlimits website it's called a 28 sv ? I'm not asking about the size of the boat We now know this. Just what's the real name of this model ? :poopoo: An I really like this boat. Artie

It is a SV29. The web site is currently being updated.

.

What's the latest with the OL SV 29 line?

Are there SV 29s cookin' in the oven? I mean that literally as they are post-cured :)

If so, what part of the country will she be going to?

I saw it yesterday at Performance Boat Center. Very, very impressed with the quality of it.

While I haven't seen it in person I was looking at it today on their site. Just my humble, meaningless opinion but there are so many other options out there for 200k.

Still very nice.

Hi,

I am impressed by the SV 29 design, speed and mpg figues, especiallty with the 565.

I live by the North Sea, and the ocean can be nasty around here pretty quickly. There are inshore areas, but sometimes you have to approach the big ones.

I see Outerlimits use an aggressive X dimension. I wonder how the boat handles in speed around 30mph? Does the prop blow out easily at these speeds? Sometimes the waves will be too huge to "fly over them" - and you need to cross them. And drive home in low on plane speed - and avoid idling which is no good at all.

I would think that the prop would stay planted pretty well. Stuffing might be a bigger concern with the low profile. I run into similar conditions that you describe with my little Donzi and Imco shorty on the Great Lakes. Stuffing is my main concern.
