I appreciate all the help from everyone. I have a new kid coming in Aug and I was wanting to get as much fun in while we can still go to the lake. But as fate goes.
Catitude.A big THANKS

I have a very high X on my 900hp 26 Carrera cat. I had the hard shafts put in at Bob's machine shop, no shaft problems in 60hrs. I have broken 1 gear floor when drive had 4 hrs on it.

Catitude, My boat handled great. No problems when the prop shaft broke. Thanks goodness. We did all have lifejackets on but still--- At least I know what to expect the next time!
Hopefully there will not be another time.
Thanks again for the opportunity to ride this weekend, Cat, I have a second smaller boat. Not near as much fun but it gets me on the water

Talk to Bob Teague at Teague Custom Marine. He is great and can help with your dilema. I have had a great deal of drive problems, to be specific, 6 units. Installed his Platinum XR unit and(knock on wood)seem to be able to boat more than 5 hours at a time. His prop shafts seem to hold up very well.

I'll have my buddy that has the same set up as you get in touch with you. He had some stuff done over the winter. You guys can compare notes.
