Take the Garden State Parkway (South) to exit 80 bear right take route 9 south for about 4 miles until you get to Ocean Gate blvd exit, Stanley Windows on the right take the jug handle cross over rt 9 next main street after the A+P shopping center driveway make a right, Follow that road down about a mile when you get to the stop sign make a left, Follw that road down about 1/2 mile and the Waters Edge is on the right hand side if you feel your going to get lost E-Mail me I will give you my cell phone number.

Dave, Frank,
It sound's like we're going to have a large group show up for the run!!! I hear we'll have a few smaller boat's running ( under 22 feet) Are you going to post a list? Can't wait..
Thanks for the certificate I received in the mail.
I was doing some steering work yesterday, Advise don't grab a wrench in the 100degree weather; It burns your hands!!! George

Shanghied Again 07-05-2002 08:21 AM

George, If you come down Friday? You are welcome to stay at our house,

beerock 07-06-2002 07:33 PM

frank the boat is running great, I have one problem with the water intake, It should be solved by next week.

I just put a new gasket on the drive side of the water intake to see if it would help, it did ,, but it still sucks air sometimes. :(
I may just make a water pick up to see if it solves my problem..(ill use my exisisting bilge pump hole for the test.....

GEOO 07-07-2002 05:50 PM

Frank,
Hum, I may take you up on that. A day trip to the NJ shore makes for a longgggggg day.. I'll call you this week.
What other Donzi's are going to the event? The new 38 footer?
Any other fast small boats? Is that Supercharged Searay going? George

Shanghied Again 07-07-2002 06:31 PM

I think Tom is in his 22 and we haven't heard anything from those guys with the Sea Ray. You have to see the new 38ZR its awesome! Talk to you this week

C_Spray 07-08-2002 10:46 AM

Frank - the 26' trophy is all yours. I can't make it this year due to business travel. (See GEOO for the nitrous kit is was thinking about "borrowing" from him.) Woo-Hoo!! will probably be there upholding the finest traditions of the NJPPC, however......

Shane 07-10-2002 08:46 PM

Can one of you guys post some directions to the launch ramp. Please be clear as us country folk ain't to bright!:p

DaveP 07-10-2002 10:00 PM

We currently have 11 boats pre-registered.

Last year we had 4 pre-registered and we had 43 boats run last year.

If the pre-registration is any indication...........UH-O! The dock hands will be very very busy this year!:D :D

beerock 07-10-2002 10:18 PM

damn, I mgiht not be able tomake it, my water intake problem is still killing me......

I need advoce on a with the hole that goes in the boat ABOVE the water line.no one is helping :(

I guess ill have to catch you guys at a later date....

I had this water intake pproblem all last season but it wasnt as bad...... damn donzi! (ill fix it soon)

fatdaddy 07-10-2002 11:35 PM

Shane, I launch my boat from the Ocean Gate Yacht Basin. It is about 1/2 mile west?North? of the Waters Edge. They have a reasonable daily launch ramp fee. Ric

SHARKEY-IMAGES 07-11-2002 05:37 AM

SHANE, Also GOOD LUCK POINT MARINA, has a nice ramp. Just North of WATERSEDGE on the right. Plenty of signs there for it. If not...keep following that same road out and you will come across OCEAN GATE MARINA. That is where CSPRAY normally launches the BAT BOAT.

Shane 07-11-2002 05:38 AM

fatdaddy,

would you be able to give me specific directions please?

Shanghied Again 07-11-2002 06:03 AM

Shane, Garden state Parkway South to Exit 80 Beachwood bear right when you get to the light go right take the road all the way down you will come to a split with a church on your right bear right again this is Rt 9 take route 9 about 2 miles once you pass Burger King on your left keep your eyes open for Stanley awnings on your right bear right to make the turn, Go over route 9 as soon as you past the next driveway for Mcdonalds and the old A+P make a right on that street ( You will see signs for crapping Waters Edge) Follow that street all the way down about 1/2 mile, The intersection make a left you will pass the Water Edge next Marina is Good Luck Point and if you pass that next marina is Ocean Gate Marina.

Shane 07-11-2002 10:42 AM

Thanks Frank. See you Saturday!

Shane:cool:
