Gas is less here (under $2.00/gal for 92 octane last time I filled it), but I paid $20k for my dock and riprap and $50k to fix the retaining wall. $70k is a LOT of years of rack storage ;)

BillR - you forgot to mention the 5% discount for boatel members off the $1.75 plus the $.18 back from the state (Virginia) for boat fuel purchases. That brings our gas price down to $1.48 for 89 octane. Not bad all things considered:)

Either Deep Creek restarant or the station at the entrace to deep creek. Price was $1.95 (give or take a nickel, my memory isn't that exact) last time I filled it about 2 weeks ago. Both have 92, but last time I stopped the Deep Creek restarant pump was broken. Magothy Marina farther up the river only has 89, but usually at a good price (I don't check often as I can't run on 89).

thats really not a bad price since i trailer my boat i usually get it at the local corner station, but i was expecting much worse. Do you keep your boat on the Magothy??

I live on Mill Creek past Ferry Point. If your at Magothy Seafood and Tiki Bar, just idle down to the end of the creek and say hello. The Formula stays on a lift in the "back yard" ;)

You should have stopped to say hello. I heard a boat out there (not many come down this far), but by the time I got to the deck you (?) were already heading back. They dredged the creek last winter, so depth isn't much of a problem if you know where the channel is. Just DON'T go past the trawler two docks down, as I can run my canoe aground there. Where they stopped the dredging it instantly goes from 5' deep to less than 1'. Has caught a few peoply by suprise.

The sail boat is my father-in-laws. We had it out for a sail last week, and it can be a nice way to relax on the water too. Just grab a beer and an sandwich (or last time some BBQ ribs) and float around for a while.

Next time your down hang around a minute and I'll run down to say hello (if I'm not working, which this weekend I think I am).

WOW, I'm blown away by some of these prices.

I kept the Baja 272 in dry storage for two seasons for $1,680.00 per year. Unlimited usuage.

Now that we trailer the 36, I still go and buy gas from them. Last Saturday their gas price was 1.89 for 93 octane. They have brand new tanks, pumps, etc. and VERY good gas.

Because the owner of the dry storage is a performance boat guy, he only sells 93. His thoughts are if he prices his gas too high, people won't come out and enjoy their boats.
