I happened to see just what you need in a recent Uline catalog. You need something safe and I think with full railing. Some of these fold up and might be worth investing in for a couple hundred bucks. http://www.uline.com/Grp_266/Ladders

Another idea, set up a video camera like a GoPro looking in the cockpit and run a live feed to a laptop on the ground next to the boat. If you have enough friends with cameras and laptops you could show the engine, cockpit and something else.
Here's a link to my video at desert storm using a GoPro on the end of a boat hook. It allowed me to get places others could not see.

Wow, now that I see the boat....yea to tilt it enough to be effective would be tough. Guess I picturing a ski boat.
