I asked the Same question a week or 2 ago and didn't get anything. I saw the one listed and it looks like a nice layout. They seem to be quick with hat power also. Don't seem to be many out there.

Take a look at Solid also.

Indy, I'm not sure how rough LI sound gets but I dont think a Concept 27 will cut it, I have a 30 and I would rate it OK in rough water, not great, very light boats so it tends to ride on top the waves not through them. I was out today with 5 adults and 3 kids, swimming, hanging out and tubing, could not have done that with my old boat,

Either way, I test drove a 1999 Scarab 302 with 225's...

I am in LOVE with the boat, the speed, the handling, the layout.

Only problem with this one, it had bottom paint.

So anybody that can help me find a 302 Scarab thats CLEAN without bottom paint and under $30k, let me know!
Friend of mine had one, he went from a concept to the glasstream, and hated it, fit and finish is horrible. He now rolls in an Active Thunder.

Thanks...kinda figured. The Sound is flat during the August dog days for the most part, but any other time it can chop up pretty good so it doesn't seem like the right boat for these waters.

Most CCs around here have plenty of freeboard and sharp deadrise, pretty solid too but not the fastest.

I love my 23. Just bought it to fill a year gap while the cig is getting re-did. Solid boat, quick, lay out and rigging is very nice. Handles great. Tanner is misguided.
