Default Road Trip? Houston - Lake Travis

Who would be up for that this weekend? I am off from Wednesday until Monday afternoon, and am thinking about going to Lake Travis.

Linn, my wife and I will be heading to Austin on Wed afternoon. We have to swing through Conroe to pick up the boat and then head out 290. What are your plans?

I won't be leaving until Saturday or Sunday, Kim and I are going to clear lake to watch the fireworks, but I am going to head over to Austin on either Friday mid-morning or Saturday early morning.

It is by far the best water and social lake relatively close to Houston. My folks live on the lake and I have been going for many years. It would be worth your time for a visit. Let me know when you plans are final and we can meet up somewhere.
