Its mounted all the way against the side of the boat and with the gauge and deck theres no way to get a funnel in there. Not to mention the sight glass is hazed over so bad you can't see the level.
So the fitting to the left of the gauge is the scraeder valve? I just need to depressurize it, check the level with a stick (shooting for half full), close it up, pressure it back up to 15# and purge any air..
I think I can make that work.

90% of the time it was transmission fluid, Pink in color. Hynautic used a light hydraulic oil in very little applications. I bet you have pink trans fluid called dextrol I belive. Any cheap trans fluid will work. Yes hudge bolt like with tire fill valve on top of tank is fluid fill and pressure fill when installed. just call me dude.

Thanks a lot Kurt! Huge help! My only question now is what fluid!?
The way the tank was mounted, theres no way to add fluid. Its like the filled it and then mounted it up under the deck.
How do I fill it? I don't see a cap on the top? Do you fill it the same way you fill a lower unit with the screw in tube and all that?

Good photo, please remove valve stem and stick the tank for level. fill with baby funnel and tight valve stem back in and pressure to 15% like it currently is on photo. No problem. easy as pie.
