Ice chest under the drivers seat lined with a kitchen garbage bag. Lid closes so no visible garbage on the boat and also seals and contains the smell.

In my 23 years of boating i never had a problem with too many empties. With 6-7 persons drinking that much i would be worried about where they pee...

What if you live in a state where the cans are returnable and they cannot be crushed?

I guess get a bigger trash can.

I was thinking more along the lines that I'll use $5 in gas idling out, I'm not worried about returning them :)

Worse yet is when they ask to use you're porta potty. I hate cleaning a porta poty. Of course both my boats had flushable heads. Although to be honest we never used them.

the ocean that we boat and jump into

do up north boaters not get in the water?

We use a cheap soft sided cooler that sits under the front passenger seat.

No we in the northern fringes of the country never get in the water - most of the time it is slush- never really liquid -

We just hold it and then explode when we hit 60 years old!!!
