Come on up to Peanut Island at the Port of Palm Beach...water is much nicer and you can put in with in a 1000 yards. Great sand bar and lots of action.

It's about 30 miles. If you go by Intracoastal it will take you for ever with all the no wake zones. If it's nice enough outside which it usually is this time of year...you can run it in about 45~50 minutes.

The best bet is to trailer over near Lake Boca one day and then put in at West Palm another day....assuming you trailer.
