The best thing that the drive shaft stayed in. If it had come out there would have been a inch and a half hole in the back and he would have had to beach or swim

What size motors are infront of those drives?
|
OUCH!!!!!!
|
Baja,
Blown 509ci 800hp |
Looks frighteningly familiar!!
Looks a lot like my drive did when I pulled the boat up on the trailer after whacking a submerged stump last fall. It shattered the gimbal ring and upper housing. Only thing holding the drive on was the hydraulic lines and the bellows. Luckily for me, my driveshaft also stayed in the coupler, or we would have been on the bottom.
I can't describe the feeling you get when you jump in the water and reach down and you can't feel your drive! |
Frightened Turtle??
Can you say (in a high voice) "shrinkage"? :D :D :D
|
Troutly,
It is and I cant tell you, sorry The failure had nothing to do with the company that did the upgrade. Wouldn't want to give a unwarranted black eye to somebody ;) |
Ouch !!
That's going to leave a mark... |
