[QUOTE=Smarty;3726021]Chuck,No harm in asking what you think it worth. It is a unique boat with a great-new power/drive package. I have always like the Bat boats.
A quick Bat boat story for ya, .I have a better story Bat boat is great hull in big water but !!So called 90 mph bat Boat open boat got spanked by a 22' Donzi&Superboat in decent size water

a triple Fountain 85-90mph boat so the Bat boat had to have big power!!Because they do about 80mph with a duo prop&small block? Not that I doubting your story!Just sayin!!

Smarty - That was this exact hull (silver at the time) if it was 1994. Volvo was using it as a demonstrator for the (then) new DPX drives. The engine was a 385 hp 454 (Volvo's version of a 454Mag). When I bought the boat in 1997, it had 300 hours on it and Troy Hannon and I took it out for a final test run before re-rigging it. It ran 75 mph, and he was stunned.
Armada had two of their boats there in 1999. The black/orange one with the 525 shown below was in the water and ran about 85. The blue/red one (also shown in Baltimore) with the 390/502 was at the Convention Center. It ran in the mid-70's.
To all those who sent PM's or called: Thanks for reaching out. Let me know when you can come by for an inspection and demo. In the meantime, I'm making decent progress on the job list as weather permits. If this leads to any decent offers, so be it. If not - Oh, well - it's paid for...

This past year I have had a couple of light hearted offers to sell our V-24. A couple of weeks ago I ran 1/2 of the Shootout Poker Run om LOTO with my son (Junior in College) and it was so much fun that I am not sure that I could sell it now (unless I could find a project 28).
I guess my point is that if you want to sell it, DON"T go drive it! If you do take it out, you will probably not want to sell it! Good luck with whatever you figure out.

Obviously, I'm flexible with pricing if there are any serious offers. Since it's paid off, I'm not in a great hurry. Besides, this isn't the greatest time of year to sell anyway...

The Lucas Oil 43 that was at Captain Rons is also a Mannerfelt designed boat that was constructed at Mystic for Nigel Hook and Silverstein. Nigel began his racing in a BatBoat in the 90's and had this built after racing several other hulls.
My bet is the first to test drive CSprays boat will buy it.
