Avenues for reference are: banks, insurance companies and marinas if there are no suggestions from a site like OSO.
This is truly a very general comment; In an area where I used to spend a great deal of time there was a surveyor who "specialized" in large sailboats. In a pinch because of availability he was asked to do a classic, 50 year old wooden "yacht". Owner was not comfortable with his survey. He paid to have a specialist in older wooden vessels also do a survey. The paperwork was nearly identical and the variation in value was nothing! Both discovered the same problems/pending problems in systems/structure. The second survey cost was very expensive in comparison.
While it might be wonderful to get a surveyor who specializes in performance boats, I am not so sure it is required.
