8.3 Whipple on the way! :)

Well doing the upgrade to new Whipple lets see what kind of speed and hp we can get now!

Made 1080HP @ 6150rpm with the 1071 at 10PSI lets see what the Whipple does!!

Any one know for sure how much higher the 8.3 is over the 10-71?

Congrats Bro

Can't wait to hear how much your Horsepower and performance increase.

I am also a big Whipple fan.

Dustin's Merc 1075 kit takes it to 1225hp + Pretty impressive!

If you had an intercooler with your 10-71, the Whipple will end up being shorter in overall height. I can give you an exact height tomorrow if you want since I have 4 of them in the shop now. They are all 5 liters, but externally they are the same as the 8.3L

O yes please I have my glass guy looking at scoop now. I never put scoop back on after I added innercooler. So I will tell him to add?????? Innercooler is 3" I think so???

From the china wall of the block (the highest point of the block, where the intake sits) to the highest point on the blower is 16". This is a 5.0L with a MOAC intercooler. The 5.0L is externally the same size as the 8.3L.
