A stern jack won't lower the propshaft in positive trim like an extension box does. Two different animals.

That's a long way to drive to try out a shorty, but I am a Fedex Ground contractor. I can get it to you.

im getting 80mph at 5050rpm in pretty humid hot weather, i was told the boat did 88mph in the fall with cool air
