Take a look at the Laveycraft 39 EVO. Reliable power, Merc. 700's. Great ride in all water conditions and a top speed of 110mph still keeping all around acceleration.
It's for sale and going for a good price!

You need to list some more info like how much do you want to spend , how fast you want to go, do you need an enclosed head, a/c, gen, are you going to overnight on it, cabin head room wanted, how many people do you plan on having out. Lots of info to be had if you fill us in. Take the Sonic boats I had a 42 that was a great boat and I overnighted all the time but now I live on the water and if I had another Sonic I would want a 386 because the cockpit is bigger than the 42, And there are others like that to, 38 cig has a bigger cockpit than a 39 because it runs a stagger set up. So first give us a $ number and that will help.

Here we go: family of 4, usually 4-8 in boat, want to run poker runs from great lakes to Florida. Will trailer back and forth to home lake, overnighting at some poker runs would be cool and running ICW overnighting also. Want to run mid 80's

You can get a very nice classic Top Gun flat bottom, might find a ts but its going to be beat. Not the best cabin for overnighting and enclosed heads are rare. But great ride a little slow with 500hp's low mid 70's.

A Fountain is probly going to be the most to chose from if 85 mph is ur goal for $85k Maybe a Active Thunder or 2 and a few 358 and 386 Sonics with nicer power 525 575 will get to 80 if setup and will have a nicer cabin for overnighting but there will be a bunch of 35 38 and 42 Fountains to pick from.

386 sonic would be the only one in that price range i would even try to put 8 people on and 4 better be small.
