Fuel Cost to fill up your boat?

Ok, here goes a thread that I'm hoping makes me feel better about my gas bill. lol How much do you spend filling up your tank(s) and how much do you average in fuel costs in a month? It costs around $450.00 to fill our tank up and we average around $1,200.00 a month in fuel costs. Don't get me wrong, I love boating and I refuse to let the gas bill change my normal boating routine, but damn, sometimes I think about what else I could do with that money. :lolhit: Ok, now others chime in and make me feel better about my little gas bill. :evilb:

$250-300.00 a weekend. 200gal @ $3.59 a gal. I only fill it up if we are doing a long pokerrun. I don't add it up cause I don't care.

200 gallons X 4.29 for ethanol free super. Lasts the weekend if we are just playing some and hanging out with friends. But I only tell the wife it takes 100 bucks lol

200 gallons x ~3.60/gal

I think I've only spent about 1500 or so this summer - more to come, but we do z lot of rafting up since the popular raft up spot is about 200 yards from my dock

My current GF does...

...6.5 knots, uses about a quart a day of gas and is worth just under $2000 w/o trailer, just over w/trailer!

Anybody want to race distance/fuel consumption? What many GFs use in an hour at cruise I can't burn in a year!

Not to worry, I am working on a 2 gal/hour speedster!

I only use sport 90 gas which is normally about 20-25% above pump.

50ish gallons @ 3.50-3.60 so about $200 to fill up. It'll last a weekend if I don't go too nuts...

just under nine hundred to fill but i usually run with only a half a tank. I can get pretty much anywhere with that and boat runs better. Funny thing is it doesnt bother in the least me to throw in almost a grand in but it drives me nuts when my truck takes a hundy to fill up lol

How about fun factor? How many girls can you fit in your cabin? :lolhit: Adrenaline rush when you hit the sticks at 70 mph and it stick you back in your seat? Poker runs, smiles, coolness, exhaust rumble that gets you going?

Defenately wrong site, check the Toyota prius forums, they would be impressed
