Northern Chesapeake Trip...

So, the wife and I decided this year we'd make the trek north for the 4th of July Vacation and enjoy some of the spots we both enjoyed as kids.

Instead of tagging along with friends on their boats, we saddled up the boat to the truck and made the long journey up I-95.

We traveled over 2000 miles on the highway, and a shade over 300 by water. Didn't make all the great spots, but experienced a handful. Spent 2 nights on the boat, but more importantly, was on the boat every day for 7 days!!!

Be aware, I've got a bunch of pics below... :evilb:

Here's the first group:

Not exactly sure...I would imagine they wrap them up during the winter like we do on cold nights down here. They did have a fairly mild winter this year and the bartender said almost all made it through...

Maybe some of the regulars to Jellyfish Joels could provide more insight. ;)

Many of the bars up here simply buy new trees each year and replace the ones that die. Nothing will keep them alive when we have a bad winter. I am always surprised how cheaply you can get them (big too).
