sydwayz, I was under the impression that you want a boat landing pretty level. The red Cig kept looking like it was nosing down

The front of the boat is pointed for a reason. Use the length of the boat to ease the re-entry by slicing the water in two.

Makes sense, I've been on the great lakes but never in something over 30ft. The red cig looks like it's out for a Sunday drive

Remember the old guy who owned/ran the town in the movie Road House? He was driving his Mustang "5.0 with the ragtop down" on a 'Sunday drive' weaving all over the road in one scene.
