Trust me I think we all have been there, done that.
Take a break.....if not you will grow to hate it and ultimately want to sell it.
Re-evaluate your goal of when you want to have it done by and make it attainable.

I have my 84 wellcraft nova ll on craigs list & got a call, the guy wanted to make sure the motors ran before he came up to look at it. I powerwashed it off ( it has been setting 5 yrs) The stbd motor popped off like it was run yesterday, port side starter is fried (YA THINK?) but now I dont know if I want to sell it. It needs quite a bit of work but like AKA said wash it & youll feel different. I have 2 other boats to run anytime but now I want to fix this one. I guess I got the fever bad. Randy

I just picked up the Webbcraft and I don't even plan on it hitting the water until next summer. My son thinks I will have it ready in less than 2 months the way I am going at it. I still tell myself next year and just take my time.

BTDT. My expected 3 month re rig on my daytona snowballed into almost two years. Two fully missed summers and dam near a third one by the time I finished the project. It was always one job ending up becoming 3 jobs to complete. At least it seemed like every job went that way.
There were definitely days when I didn't even want to look at the white plastic tent in my driveway. Those days were spent doing ANYTHING enjoyable other than work on the boat. It helps. Slows down the process but saves your mind.

Most of the advice here is spot on. We have all been there. What I do...and I have been there a few times myself....like right now. (mine is still not in the water this year, hopefully by Friday) It is like the old saying, "it's like how you eat an elephant...one bite at a time" Timelines are a bad idea. I try and do at least one thing it needs every nite. Even if it only takes me 1/2 hr. Then I go do something fun. Somedays I'm on it all day, but not that often. But I know this, if you set back and look at all you have to do you won't finish it....so don't do that. I don't. It will get done.
