Everybody seems to love jumping on the "LG sucks" bandwagon...

While I've never had any noise-related problems while at LG, I have seen others get bothered often enough to appreciate the mounting disgruntled sentiments.

There is, however, one ironic peculiarity about the place that has never been pointed out, but ought to be understood:

It is possible to operate a boat with an open exhaust on Lake George without getting pestered by a soul, provided the boat is made of varnished mahogany, and the operator wears a golf cap with a cardigan. Throw in a Scottish Terrier to complete the look, and you've got maritime carte blanche.

That is actually how things are on LG. It has a great deal to do with culture; this simply isn't taken into account by the performance boater.
