PP,

Yes, we have a place called Lubbers' Landing: www.lubberslanding.com . Check out the
Website and let me know if you have any questions. Several OSOer's
Have stayed with us already. Either way definately stop by for a drink and some boat talk.

I now remember your Pantera with twins also on the lift. Looked good! We were heading next door for smoked fish dip...seemed like we ate that stuff at least once a day.

Back on topic. The gauges look great and I hear you on the unreliable fuel level. My belly tank and sender are always keeping me on my toes. I never go below 1/2 tank on the gauge because that reading is actually a 1/4 tank...And of course it reads different on the trailer vs. in the water.

Yeah, just took the "car" out today, it read 60% full on the lift, then 84% when I'm in the water. Hit the throttles and it's 90%! Wouldn't it be nice to tell the gauge your tank size, tell it how much fuel you put in, then have the gague show a "fuel level" based on that .... engine gives gph figures which are VERY acturate- so the gauge could add fuel used and take it out of what you have in the tank. But what do I know- I'm just the consumer;)

My Chevy truck is smart enough to tell me how many miles to empty, why can't my high tech 525EFI do that?

Someone musta been thinkin' about my boat when they placed the Tiki Bar at Islamorada exactly 1/2 tank from Homestead bayfront park, down and back(on fumes) on a full tank:lolhit:

My Ilmor's do that through the Garmin GPS/NEMA 2000 output.

So what you're saying is there is no fix. Gonna just have to upgrade to an OL 40? :)
