I had the opportunity ,last month , to do 20 miles at Pocono International behind the wheel at 170-180 mph .....what a thrill. My wife gave it to me for our aniversary. I have a new respect for those guys , especially doing that for 400 or 500 miles. Also did three laps with instructor pryor to my turn and watched the tach sitting on 8300 rpm on the front straight away. That's a little to much for my big blocks

This is where they check the roof height and then they check the frontspoiler. Notice the high tech tool they use to slide under the front air dam to make sure it does not hit.

Offshore racers need to go to the John Force school of live intereviews. None of the racers know how to give an interesting interview.

I haven't met many motosports that I didn't enjoy Here Ron here's one for you

I always thought that Eddie & Ercie Hill were the nicest people in the pits. And they always seemed to be happy to talk about their Drag Boat Racing days.
