Default Newb needs help with new boat, looking at nordics and commanders etc

i have been trying to find a Nice nordic rage or Nordic heat for sale 2002 or newer open bow but they all seem to be sold or over priced.

So i have been considering looking at other boats, i found a 2004 commander 26' signature for 30k with a 500 efi motor from what the owner says.

I did a search and these commander boats seem to be hit or miss, people love them or hate them

can someone give me more info on what other boats are simalar to nordics, ive never heard anything bad about nordics ever, at least on the 2000+ models.

From searching on google and such i have found that, Nordics, donzi, magic, advantages, elininators and lavey crafts are all good boats but i would like the gurus to help me out here

Thanks

This is the boat i was looking at, looks like it has a custom 500 efi engine 173 hours on the hull

Stick with a Nordic, better build quality and they are a factory this is still going strong. If you want a Killer Deal on a 2000 35 Nordic Flame, send me a PM. Shameless plug

The commander is only 30k and the nordic i was looking at is 40k

Is it really worth the 10k difference

What motor is in the Nordic? And what is a "Custom 500EFI" engine mean in the commander? The nordic will have better resale value also, IMHO.

Avoid Commander unless it is a screaming deal....Nordic is much better.

Get a survey before you buy, best thing you can do before buying.
