Default National Liquidators 1997 Baja 322

I am looking at a boat at National Liquidators in Cleveland, Ohio. does anyone have any dealings with these folks? I put a bid in & hope to find out later this week. The only concern I have is they want to charge $10 a foot to put the boat in the water & another $10 a foot to pull it back out. I put contingent on a marine survey & mechanical inspection. Would anyone even think of buying a boat without taking it for a ride? Would you pay the $640 or tell them to screw off. Boat looks in decent shape but Baja has stringer problems. I want to make sure mechanical & structural are in order. I can fix the small crap.

Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I bought my boat there you just have to figure the sea trial costs as part of the boat cost. Have it surveyed on land first, set up the sea trial for the same day, if the first part of the survey fails then cancel the sea trial. You may want to do your negotiations first to be sure the price will be where you want it, then do the survey and sea trial once you have the boat for the number you want.

I'm no surveyor but the floor actually felt pretty good. I'll check again though.
