The tow boats make a living off that area of the lake. It amazes me how many people have run aground at the mouth of the Middle Channel. entering the channel there is two sunken islands to the right and its super shallow on the Goose Bay side. Its marked, but the channel markers are far apart and they are set up in an S shape. There is no doubt they should triple the amount of markers.

had family friends that did that many years ago, also in a Sea Ray. The kicker is he did it in the Bahamas.
A couple weeks without A/C, living on your boat hauled out in a Bahamian marina while they try to figure out WTF to do with your boat sure didn't seem like fun.
