That picture pretty much sums up the fuel control problems
Unlimited rules limit fuel consumption to no more than 4.3 GPM and total N2 speed not to exceed 110%. To achieve both those parameters most teams use a bypass that dumps fuel if it exceeds 4.3 GPM and a governor in the fuel control limits fuel if we hit 110% of N2 speed. We've been experiencing variations on both while underway, with fuel consumption going from 4.3 to 3.5 in an instant. The fuel readout looks like the rocky mountains when it should be a steady line throughout the race.
On the bright side, there were no mosquitoes for miles
