I would iron on a patch onder the cover. I think that would help alot. Artie

Fixx, I will look into that material for a cover. Depending on price, I might just take the chance of cutting the hole and use a liquid nail type formula to seal the edge and put some reinforcement, if that fails, new cover. Old cover is kicking the 2 year mark, 3 Texas summers though.

this stuff is also really strong also,,i have 20 years on mine and its still in great shape..

read up on it,the guy that does my work buys from here..

I think that should work. Never tryed it but It should help alot.
