Entry fee -> Starting point -> boat (friendly racing?) to multiple marina's, snag a card (or chip) at each stop, best hand at the finish wins the pot. Party time.

It is not a race or speed contest and you don't even need to go to the card stops you can get your cards at the card turn in party if you are entered.The ones with a street party like Desert Storm are fun,you detail every inch of the truck and boat and display them on main street then the next day the race-er poker run-starts.Most people do run balls out but two years ago we met a team that blew a motor the week before and he brought his pontoon boat and was hoping for 35mph but later told me he only got 32 out of it and the last three card stops were closed by the time they got there so you can have fun in anything.
