Default I don't know what a Poker Run is.

I'll be 40 tomorrow, this is my first Boat, and I haven't got any idea what a Poker Run is. Is it a Race? Is it a timed event? Is it just a great excuse to get together and get Blotto at Loto?? What's the basic premise and what criteria do you have to meet to be in one? Just a spectator until now. Would love to get out and meet some other folks into this stuff and would love to go to one of these Poker runs and bring the ole Boat along but have no idea what I'd be getting into.

Happy birthday bro . There is plenty of info in here on poker runs for you to get a feel for it . Kinda like a bike run on the water only much more eye candy .

Entry fee -> Starting point -> boat (friendly racing?) to multiple marina's, snag a card (or chip) at each stop, best hand at the finish wins the pot. Party time.
