Have you seen the boat? I wouldn't expect to see them at the Shootout. I can't see how they can get that fixed and feel confident in the repairs to push the boat hard.

How many boats were there ?
Around 50. The event seems to be getting smaller every year sadly. Hopefully next year there is a big turnaround and the numbers are back up around 100, but I'm not holding my breathe...

not sure numbers will increase unless entry fees decrease or value for your dollar improves. 1275.00 for a boat and crew of 4 is getting a little steep. Lets stop and consider what that buys you. This was the first year in about 15 i have missed. Last years so called meal put the nail in the coffin. sorry for the rant. wrong thread. The photos are amazing.
