On our first day in Savannah we were making a leisurely 75MPH run on the river when we passed Fort Screven and they fired a cannon. We saw a flash and then a huge boom. I think they were aiming at Curt and Jan! Did this happen to anyone else?

Yes I'll be out of the clinic by then but I'll be at the Lanier Harbor Poker Run. Sorry I missed you on the dock, I didn't get up that early and I had to leave as soon as I got to the dock to go perform my towing duties

As far as that cannon goes, I am still trying to cough my heart out of my throat!!! Jeez that was a shock; I thought you were going to be making a leisurely ride to the "Boat Doctor" to have your motors replaced.

Was great meeting you guys. Thanks for the tow. We knew you didn't want to tow us all the way back up river so we "milked" it back to the dock.

I would have towed ya'll where ever you wanted to go. I did want to see the 2nd race, but there was time to take ya'll to the hotel and get back. We tied up to the dock in front of Bubba Gumps (where it says "NO TIE UPS") and hung out with OSO boat for a while. I was searching in the cabin for a spare impeller for ya'll but couldn't find one, there'll be one there next time. Hope ya'll still had fun, I KNOW I did . See ya'll soon. Got a weekend pass from the clinic, so look out. WOOOO...HOOOOOO.
