Default Local eats at LOTO

Question for you local guys at LOTO. Where do you go for a good dinner? The wife and I have been coming there for the past few years for the "Shootout". We stay in Osage Beach at a place right down the road from Dog Days. I like a good steak and the wife is more of a chicken/fish/seafood person. We want to try something other than Outback/Chili's right down the road. Not looking for a party/bar scene. We get enough of that during the day on the lake with you guys. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Our favorites are: Bentleys,Baxters and Dominico's

Bentleys is an English supper club atmosphere, They also have a new ourside garden area that is very nice. (our reservations are for Saturday evening)

Baxters is more modern decor They too have an outside seating area, their view looks over the Community Bridge at the turn of the lake, If I remember correctly it is a 7-8 mile view

Dominicos is a true italian restaurant, they make everything including their owns sausages for the meals. It is older but nice.

Honorable mention for us is: Shorty Pants, this is our favorite on water dining, more of a bar/restaurant with live entrtainment, more what you expect for a lake establishment.

Enjoy, welcome to the lake!

For steaks, Bentley's without a doubt.

I second Bajaholic's statement. H.Toads is a good spot, too.

Can't argue with the names thrown out thus far but...JJ's Copperpot is on the west side and not too far from Captain Ron's; they have great steaks; HK's at Lodge of the Four Seasons is also very, very good, Michael's Steak Chalet not bad; great fine dining on the water...The Duck.
