Yeah but no cabin. I bet most people buying 50 nor techs are doing it because you great a wave crusher and a killer cabin.

Perfect Poker Run boat. Turbine WOW factor, Nortech wave crushing reliablity, and a relativly safe 90 MPH cruise.....

Agreed. Top end with 3000Hp is only 120? 50 foot boat with no cabin, something seems off there.

My guess would be there running a 40 pitch props, and 1.5 gears in the number sixes and maxed out the gearing, and just left well enough alone.

I saw that boat at Emerald Coast. It definitely caught everyone's attention and the paint scheme on it just looks stealthy.

But if you are gonna haul around a 50ft vhull, have to deal with all the freeboard it would be really nice.

I too am confused by the setup of this boat. To go 120 mph, have turnbines that don't need rebuilds, and be able to take a dump standing up with the a/c on would be a dreak for me

The cabin is the best thing about a 50 ft speed boat IMO

anyone else think turbines, 50ft, and #6's sounds like a bad idea? i know #6's routinely handle big power, but turbine power? coupled with the weight of a 50 footer...maybe its just me. throw in the fact that it doesnt have a cabin and the cockpit is layed out to only accomodate 6...its a turn off for many.
