7500 each or so if your lucky, unless they are Merc racing or sterling or something its a hard sell no matter how much is invested, Smitty

+1

I think it would cost you more to replace with 500 efi's than what you would get out of yours.

However, I think those engines will prob be worth the most in the general area of the builder, assuming he has a good name local. You may want to contact him and see if he has a buyer for them, let him mark up a few bucks.

Still, I can't see you getting more than 10k each, and that is if they are real pretty. Post some pictures.

Those small Weiand Blowers wont help to sell either.
750hp from a Weiand 256 Blower is pushing it..

mikebrls 09-10-2012 05:58 PM

just turn down the boost and make 600 hp and they will live a lot longer and save you a bunch of money from buying new motor's .

That's the easy and less expensive fix

10 k IF you find the right buyer, I have seen blower motors for sale on here in classifieds MANY times just languishing even at firesale prices because beginners aren't going to buy them and the hardcore guys usually expect anything that has been ran before to be on verge of blowing up or being un-reliable, I have never heard of your engine builder and most guys on here probably haven't either so it IS a good idea to try to sell them where he is known, Smitty

plus times are tough now, and it seems to be hard to sale any used motors nowadays. buy good luck on the sale tho.
