Im thinking of downsizing the engines, wondering what these are worth, any one have any idea these are a set (2)

22 hours on 750 hp Jim Bennings motors
250 Wieand blowers
Dual Holly Carbs (each engine)
J-B Pistons
Merlin Heads
Insky Cams

They run strong

figure it was a dead thread, not sure if I want to got to 500 hp's, 525's EFI or leave them alone....from a longevity perspective....they do run great tho...

theres a pair of 1100s for that. i got a pair of fresh off the dyno never installed yet talldeck 540s we could work a trade.

7500 each or so if your lucky, unless they are Merc racing or sterling or something its a hard sell no matter how much is invested, Smitty

I think it would cost you more to replace with 500 efi's than what you would get out of yours.

However, I think those engines will prob be worth the most in the general area of the builder, assuming he has a good name local. You may want to contact him and see if he has a buyer for them, let him mark up a few bucks.

Still, I can't see you getting more than 10k each, and that is if they are real pretty. Post some pictures.
