Congrats to Greg and the GT performance crew. Even better to see him out in the boat today with a group of friends using it as a pleasure boat.

Congrats to Greg Olson - GT Performance - Eliminator Boats.

We were tied off front line right by the finish line. To see that boat run 192 in person only 100 feet away was an incredible experience. I had a friend on the docks at Capt Rons that said his wife took the keys. If that was me I would have taken my wife into my cabin and had "relations" with her just to show the MTI and Skater boys what a real catamaran was capable of. Center Pod what? Oh and also grab a beer from my cooler down front on the way back out!

TOP GUN BABY....It is an Eliminator Nation!

Easy there buddy, dont get too far ahead of your self, when we see one of those center pod boats out on the race circut, running in 3-4 footer and turning, then I will buy you a drink, but until then just chill!:lolhit:

Nice to see E-85 being adapted into the marine world. I have been running it in my corvette for 3 years now and the power it makes, and cooling properties are amazing for a $3 per gallon fuel.

I had assumed that G.O. was running 110 or 116 octane race fuel. To hear that he made a 192 pass in a center pod, full cabin, open cockpit boat is AMAZING on gas that you can get from a pump that costs $3 to 3.29 per gallon. Even more impressive!

Wow wow, hold on. FYI- that is NOT i reapeat NOT the E-85 you buy at the pump for 3 bucks a gallon, first of all think for a moment, you really think that a blown big block making 1800hp on like 20+ pounds of boost would be able to make that power on pump gas?:lolhit::lolhit: Come on- Its E-85 race gas, first off you should smell it, second cause it smells like nothing else, They cant even measure the octane, mainly cause the alcohol level is so high, I call it a cocktail mixed with race gas, oh and ya it cost about 9-10 bucks a gallon.:evilb:

Yes Predator and Romers motors were able to live for a good while with that set up,one year at the shootout they ran their boats back and fourth to the camden and captain Rons for both saturday and sunday. the E-85 RACE FUEL is the key, because the high content of alcohol cools the charge which really helps the motor, so 116 at about 12-13 a gallon is almost not worth it anymore for these types of setups since E-85 race is 9-10 a gallon. It also has to do with how hard you push it and for how long, as well as how much boost you want to push out of it, but yes of course the rebuilds will be much more often then like a 700 Merc.:lolhit:

PS- drag motors are more like what Dave Scott runs, pure Alcohol
