The 1350's in that MTI have been turned WAY up to get 186 mph in a one miloe pass. There is absolutely no way stock 1350's will push that boat to 186 mph.

You're 100 percent right. There are many notable speeds, including Dennis Pool's 177 in his Smith-powered Skater (wow!) as well as John Caparell's 113-mph run in his outboard-powered Doug Wright and Roger Neighbor's 130-mph speed in his 42-foot Fountain.

In fact, all the runs, whether class winners or not, deserve some recognition, so click here for the results.

A fair comparison is Richie Princes 42 MTI with 1350s that ran 156.
