It is true , the older you get the more time accelerates . The wife and i along with sister and brother in law have been care givers for her 88 year old father . WE all sacrificed alot of boating time this summer . That's what you do when someone in the family needs you and besides , we love him . Damn , it seems the snow just melted .

I feel lucky we were on the water last weekend of April this year and only missed about 4 weekends all summer. And not to Jinx myself but we enjoyed our first summer of trouble free boating...stock power may be slower but its stress free!! Labor Day is looking 50/50 the weather looks like remints of Isaac will hit KY Lake over the weekend. Hoperully we can grab a few more weekends in September before putting the 288 away for the winter.

days are def getting shorter around here, but this time of year is awesome for boating in the NE. Most people pull their boats after labor day so it is quiet and the weather is just crisp enough to throw on a jacket. There's really no other time like the early fall.......

Yeah, by the time you take out the days that you have personal obligations, then eliminate the days with poor weather, there really isn't a tremendous amount of boating time left in the Summer, particularly in the Northeast.
