Default procharger setup help

OK
I have a gen 6 454 mag mpi , It has the 5ilbs procharger kit .The fuel system was upgraded with the Areomotive 1000 and fuel pump. I am having oil pressure issues. Cold oil pressure runs 40 at idle and 50 at 5000 rpm as my oil temps start to reach 200 f oil pressure drops to 20 at idle and 35-38 at 5000 rpm. Boat has no thermostat and I recently added a oil thermostat. Also I recently changed my oil and could smell fuel. I checked the oil with only 3 hours running and I can still smell fuel. The ecu was adjusted from 2500 rpm down with a mefi tunner by the original owner to lean out the rich condition at idle . Boat still is rich if I idle for a long time it will stumble and bogg when trying to get on plane but then clears. I am afraid running it rich may have hurt my internals . My question is what fuel pressures should I be running and also should I remove the cool fuel system and just add a oil cooler in its place?. Since I have access to a Mefi tuner were could I get a map . Any help would be great ?.

first pull oil filter and cut it open and look for metal shavings..if it looks good then you rich condition is most likely because you have no thermostat and the engine, the coolent temp sensor is telling the ecm that the engine is still cold which is causing the rich condition..your best bet is to not even mess with it ans send the ecm to make boos,,you need to shut off the cold start enrichment and then tune from their..for every pound of boost you need 1 lb of fuel pressure'

if your anywhere around loto then you can call tuner tech..he can tune it in your boat..

mr ^ is spot on with the cold start enrichment and 1lb of fuel pressure for each pound of boost.

just looking at your 54lbs @5k sounds like it's dumping more fuel than you really need.

The Aero 1000 should simply be an in-line filter and then you said a pump was added. Probably added a 255lph in-line as well.

I'm not positive on how to identify injectors on the block or if an injector change was necessary with the addition of the blower. relating my experience to Mustang builds I brought to light the first areas I would be looking. Washing out a cyclinder is no muy bueno.

So - if the fuel pressure is set too high for the rpm range you could be dumping. if a larger injector is on their it will cause increased flow rate and added pressure above what's necessary will have an even greater flow.... see where i'm going with it?

the MAP settings may be off a bit and reading the settings while also knowing exactly what your motor has will net you the best results.

just a side note.... on a 630hp 4.6L i'm running 60lbs of fuel pressure @ 17.5lbs of boost maintaining a 11.2:1 air/fuel ratio. so hearing 54lbs @ 5lbs of boost seems like it may be a little high even despite the extra cubic inches. again, not trying to be a "know it all" but simply trying to add some round table discussion to give you some direction.

Im told that the enrichemnt cycle was removed in the map and leaned out from 2500 rpm down.. from 2500 up it is the stock map . I need to verify the injectors and start from there.I need to know what is the correct fuel pressure I should be running assuming my injectors are stock. I have run 50 hrs rich . My fear is I have done internal damage as my oil pressure is low when at operating temp. But need to ensure the oil pressure issue is not from gas in th oil. Motor has 50 hrs on it since rebuilt. Can anybody give me a ecu map as i have access to a mefi tunner .
